For those unfamiliar with their story, Gloucester City AFC has faced incredible adversity. The team was left without a home ground for 14 years after devastating floods destroyed their stadium. During that time, the abandoned grounds underwent a natural rewilding, a powerful symbol of nature’s ability to reclaim and regenerate. The club’s journey back to their home turf is a strong testament to their perseverance and commitment. This story of overcoming environmental challenges and rebuilding with purpose resonates deeply with our mission at Sustainable Film.
